Plenty of restaurant choices inside the hotel and the spa was nice too

Very spacious room, helpful staff (we met Michael and the French chef at the breakfast restaurant, they are really helpful and cheerful), wonderful view Except one of the staff at the reception assumed asian (myself) should speak Mandarin, cos he only knows Japanese and Mandarin, but very little English. My husband is from England and the staff insisted to speak to me in Mandarin. I guess as a paid customer we will have to do what's convenient for the staff not the other way round right? I hold a hk passport doesn't mean I HAVE to speak Mandarin or know this language. Never Assume, we speak Cantonese in HK.

Highly recommend for family with baby. Spacious room. Sea view with balcony . Could view star at night . The small kitchen is what you need for a baby ! Could do simple cooking and reheat food .

Our stay at Halekulani Okinawa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff proved to be the most attentive and responsive team we’ve ever experienced. The quality, presentation, and flavor made each dining experience memorable, and it was clear that incredible care goes into every detail. The rooms were impeccable—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Turn-down service and in-room dining were standout highlights that elevated our stay even further. We also absolutely loved the quiet infinity pool—it was so serene, we could have spent the entire day there without hesitation. We had seen a few reviews mentioning concerns about the hotel handling its level of business, but we experienced none of that. Everything felt seamless, thoughtful, and perfectly executed. This was a phenomenal stay, and the team’s hard work truly shows in how valued and cared for we felt as guests. We cannot recommend Halekulani enough and would return in a heartbeat.

The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood, yet it is close to all the desirable places for tourists, ie restaurants, shopping, bus terminals and monorails. The staff is excellent and very accommodating.
