Room was clean and spacious, large bathroom, shuttle staff were very friendly. Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper

The resort is paradise. We stayed in the Vista Suite overlooking the ocean. We saw many animals from our private terrace including daily morning sightings of the Capuchin monkeys frolicking by the swimming pool. On the grounds of the resort we saw macaws, variety of other parrots, sloths, and iguanas. The staff was incredible, very friendly and professional. The food in the restaurants was exceptional as was the service. Highly recommend this resort.

Came to Costa Rica for my anniversary trip. The Hotel Gaia was a pleasant experience. Overall the staff was wonderful! Never waited for answers. They were always right there with answers. I've been in the hospitality business for 31 years so I appreciate EXCELLENT service, and that it was. The room was very nice also. The complimentary breakfast made waking up early easy. It was just a short drive away from plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hotel offered free shuttle to the nearby beach and national park which we took full advantage of. Overall, I have to say the hotel experience was wonderful!
