Very modern and excellent premises. Location is fantastic with the residences being connected to the IFC mall. The staff was also very good and quick to respond with our needs. Most restaurants etc are in the areas in the other side of the river but they are a short taxi ride away and the premises has a subway station right below it. Highly recommended.

If you’re booking this place for an amazing room with an amazing view and a bath tub by the window you will not be disappointed. If you are booking this for the pool area, don’t get your hopes up, it feels more like a public bath house than a luxury hotel pool, similar feel with the spa. The overall hotel and rooms are nice, I just felt like they needed a deep clean and a bit of TLC, grouting etc. light switches and AC seemed to have a mind of their own and didn’t always respond to pressing the light switches. I loved staying here, but that’s my constructive criticism. It misses a few of those tick boxes that take it upto being a world class hotel. More of an Instagram hotel that looks great for the pictures

Exceptional hotel, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay

This hotel was absolutely outstanding. The room was cleaned meticulously. Very well designed and thoughtful. There were many fantastic little touches that made this a luxury experience, including the evening turn down service and the amenities in the room (Dyson hair dryer). I’ve already recommended it to everyone I know.

I will be back! The room and staff were amazing! Breakfast was extremely good with western and Chinese dishes. The gym is also well maintained. I will definitely stay again when I’m in Shanghai again!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The peaceful Zen like atmosphere was such a lovely refuge after a day of running around in the craziness of Shanghai. The most gorgeous environment. Beautiful room, delicious food, fabulous spa. But mostly all the staff were unbelievable. So warm, helpful, and friendly. Didn’t want to leave.

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Please take care booking here. I had a suite and it was lovely. However when it rained ( albeit very heavy rain) leaks came in through the window and floor in two of the rooms. Not sure how safe it is. Not small water ingress, puddles of water. Staff moved me to a smaller single room which also leaked. Worrying as a lot of electrical stuff in areas of water influx! I have asked for a partial refund for the difference in room standard as I did not stay in the suite. Staff blame the rain. This is a major city, not rural China. I would book with a well know international brand
