BE CAREFUL WHEN USING A CARD & CHECKING OUT. I used my debit card when checking in for the incidental charge. Told the person I would be using a different card to check out. Went to check out IN PERSON before the 11:00 check out time. Used a different card. My original card had already been charged the full amount. It has been 3 days and the REFUND STILL HASN'T BEEN RELEASED back to my account. I have had 2 NSF fees because of this. I have called the hotel 2 days in a row & can’t get it resolved. I don’t understand why my card was charged before I checked out. If I had known the charge was made I could have transferred money to cover it. The hotel itself was fine. The staff was pleasant when I interacted with them. I didn’t try the breakfast or the bar. The room was clean. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. I stayed in one of the handicapped accessible rooms and the bathroom door is like a sliding barn door. It would slide halfway and then stop. To get it to shut a little more I had to pull up on the handle and jerk it. It still wouldn’t fully shut. The toilet was right there and there was no way to shut it where you couldn’t be seen. My daughter said she had more privacy in a gas station bathroom. It’s a great location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
