Great hotel, well worth the stay

We had a fantastic stay at citizenM Rotterdam! The staff are outstanding—incredibly friendly, hard-working, and genuinely dedicated to making your stay great. The hotel’s quirky design brings so much character to the experience. While the rooms are compact, they are impeccably clean, highly comfortable, and elevated by fun features like customizable mood lighting. We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful view over the Old Harbour. The communal lounge spaces are equally well-thought-out and unique. Location-wise, it couldn't be better: right on the Old Harbour, a short stroll from the Markthal, and steps from Rotterdam Blaak station for effortless train, metro, and tram links across the city. Highly recommended, and a big thank you to the whole team for a brilliant stay!

Perfekt beliggenhet sentralt

This hotel is very convenient if you are going on a cruise out of Rotterdam. The train and metro took us efficiently from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam and then to Rotterdam and the hotel. The metro is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel and the hotel is across the street from the cruise port. Check in was very slow and inefficient. The rooms had a modern feel. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. Many of the rooms looked out onto an inner space for light. The hotel is not centrally located but is was an easy walk to see the old New York Hotel and the old Rotterdam ship. It was also an easy walk across the Erasmus Bridge to the worthwhile Spido Harbor Cruise which highlighted the inner workings of the huge harbor.

The manager could not have been more helpful! He was absolutely wonderful organizing taxis and tickets and information about restaurants. The hotel is beautiful with unique decor and wonderful large airy rooms. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it. It was an also very central to the town and water taxis and trams. I just wish we’d had longer here.
