Older building but clean room and well-functioning AC and amenities. The shower we had (rain shower head with various options, including strong handheld shower head) was phenomenal.

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,005 reviews)
The facility strove to have an air of old world elegance, but did not really live up to that. There were obvious signs of renovations that were of an average quality. They charged for any extras, including water which other places provide for free. The food in the accompanying restaurant was average at best.

7.6/10 Good! (501 reviews)
We were welcomed by the night manager, he was really helpful and spoke good English. The room was large and plenty of space for my wheelchair. The bathroom was large and very welcome after a day's travelling!
The breakfast included lots of different tables full of really good quality food. We could pick from hot foods to fruits and lots of cereals and yogurts. Lovely hot coffee to wake you up!
Great location for the train station and also for a little wander around to find other places to eat if you don't want to eat at the hotel.
Could not have found a better hotel to stay.

Absolutely loved the friendly, helpful, thoughtful, professional staff! Our upgraded room was amazing! We loved the breakfast and our dinner at I’m Carrucci. Thank you again for arranging flowers and chocolates for our wedding anniversary and the bubbly too! We can’t recommend your hotel enough! It was the very best stay, indeed!!!

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Our only issue was the shower drain seemed to allow a smell from the drain pipes that was disturbing.
