Jizera Mountains Cheap Vacations

Nice place & spacious

We stayed at the hotel for 2-nights during the weekend. I want to commend the helpful stuff at the entrance, who are always available and very helpful. The hotel is located in an excellent place, right beside the river and the old town. Very clean, the atmosphere is relaxing. We have several comments that can be improved: 1. We had a clogged sink in our hotel room. We told it to the Concierge at the lobby and wend for several hours for dinner outside the hotel. When we returned, I asked the Concierge is our sink was fixed. His reply astounded us: "I forgot", that was his reply. We were tired and a bit angry. We could not return to our room since we could not brush our teeth with a clogged sink. We had to wait in the lobby for an hour while they tried t fix the sink. They apologized and gave us free drinks. ok. An hour past, no one told us anything so I went upstairs to our room to check - it was fixed and cleaned. ok, nice, but if I hadn't checked it myself, we would have sat there at the lobby the entire night. This is NOT a 5-stars hotel service level, more like a 3-stars, at best. 2. Another concern: The breakfast buffet is terrible. It is a mess, and not in a good way. It is too crowded, handled poorly, long lines just to get an omelet. There is a nice menu on each table where you can order special dishes, but it takes a long time to get it and sometimes you don't receive the order at all, or they mixed it up. I do want to recommend their spa and pool which are superb.

Beautifully appointed rooms, Exceptional service. Housekeeping daily with robes, slippers, and bedside chocolates. Great location for walking to attractions. We stayed in the units in the nearby annex, which were incredibly quiet. The Restaurant Pod Vezi was so good we ate dinner there twice during our 5 day stay, using room charge for convenience. It is fine dining at its best. Make reservations to get best dining times. Our package also came with complimentary breakfast at that same restaurant, It was superb. If ever in Prague again, this is where we will stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at this new boutique hotel. The location is great, right in the center of Prague and everything feels fresh and nicely designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also had dinner and a few cocktails at the hotel bar and both were excellent. Would definitely stay again

We highly recommend The Iron Gate Hotel. This property is ideally located! The city is so very walkable; we enjoyed all the sights from the Iron Gate; our home away from home. We were even visited one night by Elizabeth, the resident ghost.

R16 ApartHotel has a very convenient location, close to Palladium shopping center, restaurants, Metro stop. tram stops and cultural sights and museums. It is very nice to have a washing machine and dishwasher, A comfortable bed with all the linens, quality bath and hand towels, a beautiful rain shower style and hand shower. Cooling and heating system worked efficiently as well. Kitchen was fully equipped with all you need. We could not find anything negative in this place. Everything is being well thought of. A perfect place to enjoy your vacation. We were on the first floor but double windows and sound proof insulation prevented street noise. The quality that you are getting is well worth the price. The host/manager Franco on the reception desk really went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, With his knowledge about the facility and city of Prague have guided us effectively. Thank you Franco for your help and kindness. We definitely recommend this gem. Thank you!

The apartment was clean and met our needs. It is a nice location very near to the Charles bridge. We were able to walk to most of the places that we visited or by taking a short tram ride. I was a little disappointed that the apartment was a little run down with multiple items in disrepair; however, the staff was very responsive and accommodating. We were out touring so were mostly only there for sleeping, and overall had a very comfortable stay.
