This hotel is tired and needs a redo. Not a 4 star.

This hotel is a great location. Loved that aspect as well as the staff when we needed assistance. Very disappointed with our room and especially housekeeping. AC in our room was not great. Was never able to attain the desired temperatures. Housekeeping. Upon arrival our waste bin had refuse from previous guest. When housekeeping cleaned the room they removed the lower bedding cover, put it away in a storage cabinet and left the door ajar with our clothes keeping it from closing. They also opened the curtains which we had left closed to help with aforementioned AC issues. We left a key in the holder so electric y would work and AC stay on while we were gone and removed it. We found food on the carpet from previous guests and it was not cleaned up prior to our arrival or during our stay. Clearly no floor cleaning was done. But the worst aspect was towels that had little to no life left in them. Not thirsty to absorb from usage and we even had a towel with multiple wear holes in it. The latter means the issue goes beyond one housekeeper and is a problem with the team and leadership.
