Great Basin All inclusive Vacations

Took forever to get the water barely warm for a shower. Tight to close the door in the bathroom. Stayed in my room with my grandson in the evening and there were no tv channels for children without paying extra 😕

I wasn’t impressed with Holiday Inn’s way of check in. At the desk everything was normal until it came time to receiving your key. Then we had to go to another location where we got the hard sell to come to their timeshare meeting. The previous owners had a similar meeting. However, there was no hard sell at the check-in desk to come. My wife and I began coming to this property in 2011 prior to Holiday Inn taking over. The last time was in 2017. The first 3 times were in the Cascade lodge. We loved that place. This time we stayed in the Terrace. Overall the place was clean. However, the tiles in the elevators were worn due to ski boots and equipment. The fan in the main room only worked one way. The chains to turn the light on and off and change fan speed were stuck. When the fan was turned on the light stayed on and it was stuck at its slowest speed. Fan direction couldn’t be changed between winter and summer. The programmable portion it the coffee pot didn’t work. We asked for another and it was the same. In the kitchen they had all the essentials, plates, silverware, pots and pans etc, there were no measuring cup/cups or spoons. The staff is very helpful. They responded quickly when we called regarding an issue we were having. In all they were the best part of our experience. This will probably be our last time coming to this resort. It needs a major refresher to be in line for the prices charged.

My $800 dollar trailer hitch was stolen right from their coverd parking. Price didn't match Expedia price.over buy $150. They have 8 bars but you only can gamble in them. No place to dance no place to socialize.Staff is so busy they have no time to chat. No need to go if you wanted to make friends and network.
