Eastern Norway All inclusive Vacations

It was clean, good size apartment, location is close to the center but the area around it didn’t feel comfortable at night, and it was hard to notice where the main door is as the sign is inside and not clear on the road.

Had high expectation to visit this place. The service was disappointing at the best. we were left alone on our self with zero help from the staff.. judging from previous review, the same problem still exist. I guess the only improvement they’re trying to do is to reply bad reviews. It’s the same standard answer without actual action to improve their service.

Great experience overall at the Clarion! Well maintained hotel in a great location--we spent a few days exploring Oslo and that area is very walkable (there's also a bus stop directly next to the hotel). Staff were very friendly and helpful. My one complaint is the cleaning job was pretty poor-- of the 3-4 days we stayed, they only offered to clean the room once and there were pretty minimal changes after they had (e.g., sheets weren't changed, clearly hadn't vacuumed, etc). For close to $300 per night I'd expect more. Otherwise though, we had an overall positive experience!

Good location, only 10 minute walk to train station (Theatre). Staff was helpful. Breakfast has lot of variety. Only 20 minute walk to Oslo Main train station with library, opera house just few minutes further. Bathroom functional but very small. Overall good value.

What I don't like the most is the breakfast. There are very limited breakfast options and it's a very small buffet - compared to other 5 star hotels nearby it's inferior. The first morning, I ordered boiled eggs, I waited for more than 30 mins or so, then checked with the staff. They responded eggs had to be cooked - clearly we don't need 30 mins for hard boiled eggs. It was brought out less than 10 mins after I checked in with them You could have just admitted the order was missed and apologised. Also staff didn't show me where I could get water on the first day. I checked in and got to my room before 5pm. Complimentary filtered water bottle was brought to my room after 8pm. I can't understand how this is helpful. This is an odd customer welcome journey - it's all about the right moment at the right time - wondering if the hotel wants guests to drink and pee at night and that's why they brought it to the room so late? The same thing happened the following day. The sauna had very loud music and poor quality speakers so it's not at all a relaxing time in the sauna. I requested the music be turned down or turned off but obviously no change was made. Overall this hotel falls short of my expectations and I don't recommend.
