Everything about this small boutique hotel was perfect.

This is a charming little boutique hotel in a lovely location (15 minutes to Pigalle square and the Moulin Rouge & The Opera Garnier, the other way). You can see Sacre Coure up one of the roads! It’s right in the middle of fabulous restaurants and cafes. There’s a mini mart — that’s open late — right across the way, which is very convenient. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable and I had my windows open day & night. It can get a tiny bit rowdy on the weekends (but it’s Paris). Great rainfall shower. The staff are friendly, helpful, and kind. I am so delighted I chose this as my home base for my first trip to Paris. If you’re a solo traveller make sure to map out your path closely as it’s very easy to get lost; and, ask the staff questions.

The hotel is a fantastic location, near shops, restaurants, a few minutes walk from the Seine river, Notre Dame and the metro. The hotel is also around the corner from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. The hotel itself has fantastic amenities and rooms have everything needed. Most importantly the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly too. I would definitely stay here again

While Le Burgundy Paris offered some great factors (perfect location, beautiful breakfast garden, stylishly charming decor, and enthusiastic room service personnel), we found it fell just short of the expectations for a 5 star hotel. There were certain details that were lacking which made the stay feel modest rather than premium. The toiletries, slippers, and robes were not luxury-hotel quality, the bathrooms could have been more pristine, and the communication between the front desk and the breakfast hosts could have been improved. When a couple of us went to the garden lounge on the second morning (of our 3 night stay), we were denounced by the host/server saying that our breakfast was not included. We had to wait for her to clarify with the front desk before being welcomed in. The atmosphere felt unfriendly. In all, our experience at Le Burgundy Paris was functional rather than high-end.

The location of this gem of a hotel in the Latin District is excellent. Near enough all the activity yet the rooms are quiet. My room was tiny but workable. I am sure the property has bigger rooms. It was well enough appointed although a chair that provides back support would be an improvement. The pool is nice but the hotel lacks a fitness room. The breakfast food was quite good with something for all diets. The hotel itself has a Bohemian vibe that grows on you after a day or two. Wifi was excellent. The staff were warm and friendly and that starts with check-in. The desk clerk sits you down in the lounge with a water or coffee and goes to check you in while you relax. A little confusing initially, but it is actually a nice service to offer. The hotel is situated very close to shops, sights and restaurants as well as ground transportation. It is a nice little hotel I will gladly use again.
