(256 reviews) Absolute gem of a resort. Amazing food, accommodation and service. After 11 visits to Fiji this stands out as one of my favourites. Veti, the Manager is an angel who will do anything to inprove your stay. She was there when we arrived late on a Sundat night after 11pm, and there when we left before 6am a week later. Food in Fiji is known to be hit and miss at the best of times but Wellesley did not disappoint. Gourmet food at very affordable prices. If you want peace and serenity this is the place to go. 10 out of 10. The highlights were the dining experience. The restaurant staff were professional and nice, and the cuisine was unique and delicious. However, the service consistency was a major issue. While the restaurant team was great, the staff at the gift shop was shockingly rude. When I was purchasing slippers, a female shop assistant literally threw them on the ground toward me and spoke with extreme impatience. Can't believe I am in a high end resort at that moment. Another disappointment no unlimited water, this hotel limits guests to only two bottles per day and charges for extra. It felt quite stingy and "nickel-and-diming" for a luxury establishment.
