(155 reviews) This is a great place for a simple, clean room at a reasonable price. The sea view is stunning. The decor is traditional, not contemporary, with lots of colorful tiles. Despite somewhat dated decor, this is the sort of place that would be perfect for families who are more interested in good value than hip design. The hotel is right on the sea, and beach access is a very short walk down the coast (3 -5 minutes). It’s a quick bus ride to center but a world away from the tourist hordes. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a great Japanese place in the same building. Best of all, the place is spotless, and the staff was friendlier and more helpful than we found at five star properties elsewhere. I really can’t say enough about how welcoming they are. Oh, and breakfast was great. They get a family-friendly A+. (26 reviews) This hotel is comfortable and clean. The reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is very near the central train station. While our room was spacious and comfortable, the door to an adjoining suite allowed so much noise - we could hear the neighbours as if they were in our room. Additionally, we were given a mini-bar price list, but no actual fridge in the room. They also have a rule of not bringing any food back to your room! The safe also did not work. There was a split of AC/heat, a large closet and desk. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast started at 8am. It consisted of very tasty pastries, yoghurt, and cereal in a nicely decorated room by reception. I would recommend the hotel as a clean, comfortable place to stay but definitely minimalist. And perhaps other rooms are better sound-proofed than ours was... (153 reviews) What a beautiful hotel on the beach! The staff was excellent! The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooms were quiet and peaceful. The bar was well stocked and decent snacks accompanied the drinks. The location is great for creating a home base for day trips from this spot! Unfortunately, the area does not have great restaurants. So make sure to plan meals elsewhere or bring something into the room and enjoy a very romantic occasion on one's private balcony.
