The Hotel Atlantico Madrid is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious, very comfortable bed, and large bathroom with 2 sinks. The hotel is centrally located, we could walk to all the places we wanted to see in Madrid, The only reason I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would want future travelers to know we were on a very busy street, however the hotel is very sound-proof! It also had a very nice rooftop patio.

I had a four night stay in a Superior room and was very impressed by the size and quality of the accommodation. After looking through some reviews about the street noise, I was worried that it would be a problem, but lowering the electric shutters helps muffle the sound. But honestly, after living in NYC, the traffic sounds were not much of am issue. Some of the pro’s for staying at Hotel Atlantic: easy access to transportation (metro/taxis), close to many of the local attractions, air conditioning works amazingly well, staff very friendly, and last, but not least, bilingual staff are very helpful with helping to navigate the local area. A few con’s that I found about this hotel is the plumbing… because in the shower the water kept filling the tub, no microwave in the room, and the “restaurant “ on the rooftop is more of a bar that sells appetizers. All in all, I would certainly stay here again.
