I booked this hotel through recommendations. I booked the least expensive room because it was only for a couple of days for my daughter’s cheerleading competitions.
1. It was clean. However my room which was on the 4th floor was dated, which I was ok with, but while I was brushing my teeth, the light fixture fell on my head. Hotel worker responded quickly.
2. The water was super cold.
3. TV and WiFi wasn’t working.
4. Hold on my card was supposed to be $100, but they held $200.
End result,
1. Staff member was able to switch my room to a pool level, renovated room.
2. Water was slightly warmer.
3. No injuries to my head (thank God)
4. Food I ordered by the Tiki bar was good.
5. Nice atmosphere.- adults and kids had fun.
6. The staff member that originally gave me the room was the same lady who switched my room, but she failed to tell me I got a hotel credit for booking through Expedia. It was another worker who told me about the hotel credit which I used to order food.
In the end it all worked out. Rooms on the 4th floor need to be updated and the water needs to be hotter. The hotel itself is really nice. I would stay there again, but not on the 4th floor.
