À quoi s’attendre

  • La visite guidée du complexe monumental de Priamàr a lieu dans les espaces extérieurs de la forteresse génoise, construite en plusieurs étapes à partir de 1542. Guidé par le personnel du Musée archéologique civique, vous apprendrez l’histoire de ce vaste complexe militaire, construit en détruisant le vieux centre de la ville médiévale de Savone, et retracerez son développement architectural. À partir de la Piazza d’Armi del Maschio, emplacement central du pouvoir militaire génois à Savone, les palais qui surplombent encore cette place seront illustrés. La visite se poursuivra ensuite dans les douves et remparts de la forteresse, et vous verrez certains des sites archéologiques les plus importants pour comprendre l’histoire de la ville de Savone avant la conquête génoise, y compris la fouille de la cathédrale disparue.
