Our Family Business that have everything organised in a detailed way to provide you with an unforgettable experience. We will make a journey of +/- 8 hours on the Best part of Douro valley. Starting with 1 hour trip, the guide will talk about Portugal, the areas we go through, as well as answer all your questions Along the way, we will pass by very important regions, such as: Amarante, the land of green wine; Serra do Marão, where we will cross one of the longest tunnels in Europe; Vila Real, a very important city in the development of the northern region. The trip will be fantastic, where you will know and learn different stories of our country.

Amarante

Amarante, our first stop, features the majestic Serra do Marão and the river Tâmega, which flows through the city and adds charm to its picturesque houses. The city, possibly founded by the Roman centurion Amarantus, links the provinces of Minho and Tras-os-Montes. In the 13th century, St. Gonçalo, a Benedictine monk and the city's patron saint, built a bridge over the Tâmega. Amarante is also renowned for its sweets, including papos de anjo, brisas do Tâmega, toucinho do céu, bolos de São Gonçalo, and galhofas, which can be found in local cake-shop and cafés.
