What you can expect
Enjoy an introduction to Milan's main highlights on this full-day guided skip-the-line tour. Soak up the city's history as you wander around the Sforza Castle, La Scala opera house, and the world-renowned Duomo cathedral, and complete the experience with skip-the-line access to da Vinci's The Last Supper.
Start your day with a leisurely stroll through Milan's city centre. Pass by the ancient Sforza Castle, former residence of the duke's family, and La Scala opera house, one of the most famous theatres in the world. Hear about the theater's history, as well as the numerous opera artists and singers that have performed here.
Your next stops are Santa Maria presso San Satiro, a 15th-century church housing one of the first examples of trompe l'oeil in the history of art, and the astonishing church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, called the Sistine Chapel of Milan.
Later, follow your guide through the luxurious Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and reach the celebrated Duomo of Milan, Italy's largest cathedral. Take some time to admire its impressive Gothic exterior before making your way inside to appreciate the numerous works of art hosted along the five long naves.
In the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, see one of the greatest masterpieces in the world—The Last Supper, painted by Leonardo da Vinci on the refectory wall. Gain your exclusive priority entrance to the refectory and enjoy the view of this fragile but astonishing painting.
Please note: on Sunday the visit to Milan Duomo can be replaced with a visit to Piazza Gae Aulenti.
