The steam room was not functioning, and there was no communication as such. The Jacuzzi was not functioning fully either. The men’s change room had no hot water in the shower and there was a painting crew in there during regular hours. The painters were also going in and out of the ladies change room at their leisure which was incredibly uncomfortable. We have not stayed at a Riu before and not sure we will again.
