(105 reviews) We heard great reviews for this hotel from friends in Manado, so we booked a room for our stay. I’m giving five stars because I believe my friends. However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldn’t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didn’t respond the hotel responded to me but also didn’t refund the money. (9 reviews) The hotel is in a huge complex that also includes a hospital under the control of the same owner. My wife and I were perfectly satisfied with the room, which had a balcony overlooking the parking lot and, beyond it, a cemetery.
