Pacifica Adventure Vacations

The hotel had just suffered an earthquake the hotel was damaged significantly, not their fault but I contacted Expedia prior to my arrival asking if everything was going to be ok as I was unable to get any information from the hotel itself despite several calls and my booking was non refundable. Expedia reached out to me to tell me that the hotel was functioning normally with no reported damages. Upon arrival we were given a room on the 3rd floor and it was the the only room on that floor that wasn’t damaged all the other rooms were open and being repaired painted and fixed, it was a big mess, dust sheets everywhere ladders building materials paint ect. The lift was Brocken we had to carry our cases and bags up 3 flights of stairs no help was offered. The breakfast was nice and I didn’t complain because of the devastating situation until check out when they were going to charge me for 2 small bottles of water and a can of Coca Cola I drank from the mini bar i was shocked. Eventually after reception making calls to a supervisor/manger the fee was waived. Terrible hospitality terrible customer service I would not recommend this hotel.

The air conditioning system wasn’t working Was mold and the ceiling.
