Gozo Adventure Vacations

Ta Cenc has lots of charm but while some of the rooms have been newly renovated others remain dated. We appreciate the charm of the hotel but time to speed up the renovations.

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious which I appreciated. However, it would have made a world of a difference to me if they provided and not charged for hotel slippers. These should be complimentary in a 4-star hotel. One other improvement point would be if they provided bottles of water as well with the room, given Maltese water is too salty to drink. These are low-cost amenities that would have made this stay 5 stars.

A gorgeous hotel, we didn’t even want to leave to explore Gozo (but we did & had a wonderful time). My only regret is not staying here the entire time we were in Malta!

Large, clean room with an amazing view. The staff were helpful. Beautiful pool, good location in the harbor. Great selection of fresh food at breakfast, but coffee was bitter, not tasty. The hotel is old, some cracks in walls and terraces, the many elevators are a maze, not all of them worked. We needed to take stairs to the elevators, or take an elevator to change to another elevator. Take maintenance staff starts work early, they work hard, but they also woke us up after 8:30am to fix an issue in the room, on another day there were construction notices at 8am above our room. The AC can be lowered only to 18C, it stopped working on one of the days for a few hours. The reception did not have a cart to put our luggage on to take to the room, all needed to be carried. No AC in the hallways.

I really liked that there was no music by the pool so that I could enjoy a relaxing time sunbathing.
