The Riad was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for during our week in Marrakech. The Nashira suite was not big enough for our family of four, and unfortunately all other rooms were booked. The suite was also not very clean- the carpets had a strange smell to them. The staff were amazing and would be the only reason I would consider returning.

Be sure to take out insurance when booking at this hotel. This is our advice. Most hotels work with customers but this one does not. We contacted the hotel because we were delayed mid journey outside of the country. The hotel is not willing to be flexible even with 3 days notice that we can't make our booking. They even told us were were with in the cancellation time frame. But they want to stick to the policy. Sad. So rigid. If only we were in the country. So disappointing when you provide as much warning and advance notice as possible. And the hotel does not care but rather, take the money and adhere to policy. It is not a hotel I will be rushing to book at next time we are in Hermanus. But my suggestion for all is to book with travel insurance so you do not have to worry about this hotel following their policies!

Location was unbeatable. The hotel is directly connected to the mall and also within walking distance of the Oranjezicht City Farm Market, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The whole surrounding vicinity felt safe, and the views from the hotel were stunning. With Table Mountain in the background, we even caught a rainbow while having breakfast by the window overlooking the wharf — such a memorable way to start the morning. If I were to nitpick, I would suggest going down earlier for breakfast if you want to enjoy the spread at its freshest. Perhaps because we were there on weekdays and turnover was lower, some items felt like they had been sitting out for a little while when we went later in the morning. Nothing major, but worth keeping in mind. The room itself was comfortable and well appointed, and we particularly appreciated how easy the hotel made our stay. Between the waterfront location, the views and the convenience of having the mall right next door, it was a very easy base for exploring Cape Town without feeling removed from the city. Overall, I would happily stay here again, particularly for a first visit to Cape Town. The location really is the standout — convenient, scenic and in an area where we felt comfortable walking around.

Rooms was very Very friendly staff It was the first time and it won't be the last. A wonderful place

Room was very clean with white bed sheets and quiet, staff were very friendly and helpful they were very polite and kind The breakfast was great and restaurant staff were very good know their job and what to do Don’t miss the breakfast
