Bordhoy Fishing Vacations

This is probably on me, didn’t know the spa is not included with the stay. Pictures shown on the property, but separate company/business? If I’m going back to faroe, I would just go to the spa. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very nice fancy hotel, everything was clean and look nice, but what got me to stay there at first was the spa/hot tub pool, since it’s a separate service, don’t have to stay in a $400-500/night hotel. Staff were super nice and helpful though.

We had a flooded shower room. Felt bad about the couple below us, it was dripping water down to their room. However the staff was helpful to come quickly to fix the issue.

Beautiful property with a typical Faroese feel

Loved my stay here! Although I traveled solo, there is sufficient room for a large family/group. The view of the fjord is extraordinary, and I found myself sitting and watching the beautiful wildlife for hours. The adjustable LED lighting in the kitchen/living room area is a very nice touch, and there are separate indirect heating thermostats to control different parts of the home. The houseboat is situated in a perfect location for driving out of Esturoy and visiting places like Gjógv, Slættaratindur, or many other places of interset for visitors. While nice and secluded, the nearest grocery or Rusan's is only ~16-20 minutes away.

This was a very nice hotel but the room was incredibly small. My husband and I are not large people but it was challenging to have our luggage plus us in the room as there is little storage. I would recommend removing the iron and ironing board and simply have it available for those who need it.
