Cozy Log Cabin, Mountain views, HOT TUB, & Fire Pit- accepting renters!

Cozy log cabin escape nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come enjoy the beauty of the Fall season and cool mountain temps. New Hot Tub on the wraparound back porch. Located in a private, gated community just a few minutes from town. Ready to accommodate 8 guests, this is the cabin you need for a peaceful mountain getaway. Stroll down the path to the outdoor fire pit in back. Inside is equipped with two full bathrooms and two bedrooms on three floors there is privacy to spare. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and shower while the downstairs bath has a beautiful stand up shower, double sinks and a handmade barn door. The master bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage to unpack your suitcase and stay awhile. The second loft bedroom has an open floor plan with a queen bed and a day bed with trundle. The sofa in living room pulls out to another double bed for 2 more guests.
In the kitchen, you will find everything you need for a home cooked meal including all updated stainless appliances, cookware and bakeware. The house is also laundry ready with a washer and dryer in the basement. Recently renovated and always being updated.
Located just 15 minutes from Boone, it is convenient to shopping, restaurants and Appalachian State University. We're also just 35 minutes from skiing at Sugar Mountain, and 45 minutes to Beech Mountain skiing. Come discover all the hidden gems these beautiful mountains have to offer! **Please note: our beautiful cabin is located on a dirt road. In the winter months, if there is inclement weather, you will need 4WD and/or chains to access it.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, quiet and comfortable cabin! The hot tub and fireplace inside were nice and we enjoyed them both every night. The only reason I would give it a 4 star is the kitchen did not have enough essential utensils. I’m glad I brought a head lamp because we grilled at night and their are no lights on the back porch area there or the hot tub area.

I would not recommend the vrbo, The second we walked It appeared bigger in the photos, smaller in person, says It sleeps 8 and there is only 3 beds with sheets we contacted the host for sheets and never got a text back. The master bedroom wouldn't close, the shower ceiling had mold on it, Then we went to go in the hot tub and it was foamy and nasty, The Board games under the tv had spiderwebs all over them also the games were junk all of them were missing peace's and falling apart. we left a day early because my family did not have enough room to sleep. DO NOT STAY HERE

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a relaxing, quiet honeymoon spot. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was excellent. There were a few safety concerns with the smoke alarms being disabled or missing off their base. We understand that previous visitors had done this due to the amount of smoke that comes from the fireplace. But overall, it was beautiful and cozy. We would definitely come back.

Privacy OK. Did not use hot tub. People who rent this cabin need to be advised that while they do provide bath towels, you need to bring your own washcloths. We had to go out and purchase some. Never rented a cabin where those weren’t provided — not a big deal, but rather unusual based on my past experiences.

Really enjoyed the cabin. Hot tub and fire pit was very nice. If we had any complaints it would be that the cabin is pet friendly but the only area to walk the dog the grass was about 2 foot high. Also the string lights walking down to the fire pit over half the bulbs were blown. Overall was a great stay would stay here again.

The house was cozy and location to Boone very convenient. We booked it especially to use the hot tub. When we arrived we noted it was foamier than usual and saw a used soap bar on its ledge. We contacted the owner who responded within one hour acknowledging the issue and saying they would send someone out. No one ever came and we never heard any follow up from the owners, despite reaching out. I have had much more responsive owners at other rentals when we ran into issues.

This cabin was cozy but in need of a deep clean. The floors were dirty, kitchen greasy and bathroom needed a good scrubbing. We did not use the hot tub, nor grill.

Anniversary Getaway

We stayed at this beautiful cabin in Zionville, NC for our first anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The peaceful mountain setting, cozy interior, and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true getaway. Everything was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and full of charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, reconnect, and celebrate our special weekend. Highly recommend!

Winter Wonderland

Great cozy and warm cabin for a ski vacation! Loved the fireplace, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit! Open-concept layout was great for family dinners and conversations. Road is steep and definitely requires 4WD, but great for sledding!

Short get away

Nice property just needs a good dusting and gas grill needs replacing, Otherwise lovely cabin, downstairs bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water to shower with, pictures are accurate on what to expect. Would book again when needed, you do need to have a 4x4 when it snows to reach property in winter, as we were lucky to have several inches while we were there (yes I have 4wheel drive), check in process was easy and had no issues while there.

Perfect Fall getaway house

This house was the perfect place for our fall getaway. Tucked into the side of a rolling hill in a gated community which made me feel very safe. It was spotless and the king bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in so much that I looked to see what the brand is. After a long hike the hot tub was soothing over looking the falling leaves. I will be booking it again for next year !
