Leave your boat in the water no need to take it out while you are here. Enjoy the Outdoors. Fish on The Largest body of Water in Texas or explore the Angelina National Forest. Great Hunting right outside the Door. Perfect for Hiking or Biking and water Sports! Located Mid-Lake. Cabin is about 100 yards from the water. Cabin doesn’t have water view but the property does and is waterfront. You can pull your boat up to the shore and Charge your batteries while still in the water. Cell phone service is Spotty, ( comes and goes). Time to unplug relax and enjoy the Outdoors. Also have Canoes for rent at a daily rate $25each. Since we do not, we explored nearby on our day of arrival. The cabin site had a grill, fire pit and play area that we enjoyed each evening after our day trips to Boykin Springs and Lake Tejas. We were really looking forward to using the boat ramp on the property and not have to leave the whole weekend but the weather was rainy and the lake was high so the boat ramp was under water and not usable. The rain and wet conditions made it very hard driving pulling the boat on the long dirt roads in and out to go to a usable boat ramp to fish. The roads can be a little challenging if it’s raining. Roads dried out fast and we loved the location. Definitely off the beaten track. Sam Rayburn is a beautiful lake and everyone we met were very nice. Eagles nest is a good restaurant too. Will book again next year. ##### Tony B. Lake level was about six feet lower than normal but it was still a successful trip. The cabin was perfect and our host Becky came by and was very friendly and we even met some of her family and had a great visit. Already looking forward to making another trip ##### Robin M.
