Other iconic sites are also within walking distance including Ban Jelačić Square (a 12-minute walk) and Tkalciceva Street (a 20-minute walk). For nature lovers, Zagreb’s Botanical Gardens and Maksimir Park, the oldest public park in Zagreb, are both a 10-minute drive from the property. Maksimir Park offers a peaceful retreat with lakes, walking paths and a zoo, visitors can also visit Jarun Lake (a 30-minute drive) for water sports, cycling and jogging, with beaches and cafes to enjoy during the summer months. Brand new unit. Dino, our local contact, was wonderful. He was personable, helpful, charming, easy to contact - answered immediately. Washer was nice and it worked to dry our clothes on the heater.
