The Neighborhood:
When going to Joshua Tree one couldn’t imagine a better location in ambiance and convenience than the Skyline Ranch area, adjacent to the coveted Pinon Ridge & Rock Reach areas of Yucca Valley as well as Pioneertown and the National Park. The area is private, but not remote with gorgeous views of mountains, Joshua trees, & desert flora & fauna. During the day, you can explore nature in your own backyard, and at night, the stargazing can’t be beat.

In addition to shopping and dining, you won’t want to miss these nearby highlights:
• Pioneertown (6-minute drive) - Put on your ten-gallon hat and stroll down Mane Street of this Wild West-inspired town, also known for Pappy & Harriet’s, a notable restaurant and venue.
• Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum (20-minute drive) - As far from a stuffy gallery as you can imagine, this outdoor sculpture garden contains a unique collection of folk-art.
• The Integratron (20-minute drive) - New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.
• Palm Springs (40-minute drive) - Artsy town known for vintage shopping, art galleries, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
• Mt. San Jacinto State Park (90-minute drive) - Expansive, hilly landscape with foot and horseback trails surrounding 10,834-foot Mount San Jacinto.

Road is a partial dirt road.

• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.

• SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!

• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling Wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

• ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four-wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain

Fabulous Birthday Trip

We love this home. Perfect location, very private and lots is outdoor spaces throughout the property to relax in. The outdoor shower was awesome as was the large patio with fireplace, dining table and lounger.The management company was super responsive and answered quickly the couple of times we had questions. One issue was the hot tub did not get warm and we didn’t reach out about that. One small confusion for us was the trash sitch.We placed trash in cans by the fence along the road - some of the communication said use dumpster nearOld driveway and one said use can to left of house behind fence…wish we had read when pick up was, we would have put cans on the driveway corner. Other than this minor thing…we LOVE this home.Thanks to the management. Ken & Chuck

This property is absolutely amazing! Rented it for my girlfriends birthday to get away and get some peace and quiet and it was just what we both needed. The property and layout was exactly what we were looking for. The sunset and stargazing on the day bed was worth the trip alone. Will definitely be back.

Desert retreat

Some improvements- all solar lights don't work NEED REPLACING- so no lights at any seating, fire pit or hot tub - we arrived in the evening - no walkway lighting. Yes the wifi is not great thus making the Sonos music system not work some of the time. A welcome note or basket of some sort would take away the corporate feel of this rental, like it was created to do filming - as asked not to do, but the lay out of the property is not functional friendly for travel at all. PROS - fabulous views - comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen and bath. Convenient for great hiking.

Great Getaway

The property lived up to the photos and description. It was modern, beautiful, and clean. Great location that allowed for privacy but was super close drive to restaurants, grocery, and Joshua Tree National Park. Loved having the patio doors fully open and combining the indoor/outdoor space. Hot tub stargazing was wonderful. Would not hesitate one second to stay here again.

A Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I had the rare chance to get away without our young children, and we couldn’t have asked for a better property for a relaxing vacation.
