It was such a great vacation. We did drive up to the house in the evening and did get lost for a quick second. Also the roads are unpaved as you get close to the home, I suggest having an SUV/CRV. Beautifully decorated with modern furnishings the house has everything you need to feel comfortable. The host Gretchen could not have been nicer or more responsive. House is a short drive to Joshua tree national park and near good restaurants and coffee shops. I will definitely be back. The only negative was the unpaved road and driveway into the property is challenging in a normal-clearance automobile. I tend to over analyze and was a little overwhelmed by the amount of options for VRBO's in Joshua Tree so let me save you the trouble and tell you this property is amazing. Close to everything but not right in the city lights so the stars are unreal. The host has exquisite taste you feel like your at a luxury resort and not just someones second home. She has thought of every little detail such as robes in all the closets, a children's crib, and toys. ##### Denise P. Beautiful and peaceful is how I would describe it. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. Close to Joshua Tree National Park. Just be advised that the road leading to the house is a minimum maintenance road so you should have an higher clearance vehicle but I did see van and cars make it through.
