Connecting through a set of stairs you will also have the basement level which features 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry room, and a kitchenette (no stove or sink, but we do have a coffee maker, hot plate, silverware, glassware, and a mini-fridge). Please note: especially in the summer with a portable AC unit running in the living room, the kitchen electrical circuit can get overloaded, causing it to trip the breaker. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that: We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Parking \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ We share our driveway with our upstairs neighbors, but our side fits up to two cars in tandem. Please note there’s no street parking on our street. If you need more parking space, there is extra free street parking available on a nearby street, which is only a few steps away! If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. \- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. \- Please leave your shoes at the door. \- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. \- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. \- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. \- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Good location. If you just need the main level, its fine. The main level apt quality very different from the basement unit… basement is dank and not as clean. We asked where we could find the toaster after we had searched both kitchens. They said they’d ask the cleaners but they never got back to us.
