« A great gem in Nanoose Bay! The suite is great, particularly if you have a pet - easy ground floor entry/exit for bathroom breaks. 10 min parking for unloading/loading is almost right at the door. Parking in parkade was close and available. The views, the quiet and the amenities are wonderful. We will be back. »

« During my stay of 15 days, no communication from the owner, but all went well for the accommodation. The location is great and the waterview amazing. The weather was snow and rain for 13 days, but I still enjoyed the great scenes being close to the water. The location is 100% perfect! »

« The property turned out to much nicer than we expected, it was quiet, the view out the windows on the fourth floor were great. Short drive to Nanaimo, and shorter to Parksville. Would absolutely consider going back. »

« We had a great stay at forest hideaway- were impressed by the arrangement that fit nicely all of us (big group of 6 ppl various age group plus a pet). Clean, tasteful decor, spacious, close to beach, well stocked kitchen, easy check-in/ out process- top marks! Only feedback would be when it is hot - say 20c or so hard to cool the place down without an a/c. »

« The suite was awesome. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. The area it is located is beautiful and the beach was great for hiking. The wildlife was up close and personal. We saw at least 50 sea lions swimming with 50 feet of the shoreline. The hosts were friendly and took an active interest in our needs. »

« The location map for the property was incredibly misleading. VRBO has the listing map in Nanaimo which was what was originally searched as we needed to be in town. However, when we arrived, the map on VRBO lead us to some reserve land (it was super sketchy). It wasn’t until I opened the email from the host that the address/location was provided. The property itself was in Ladysmith, 20kms away from the VRBO location point. We never would have booked it if we had known the actual location. Not at...

« The best thing about Dennis' place is the fabulous waterfront location. We enjoyed our coffee every morning watching the sea lions, gulls and even whales one day. The condo itself is very comfortable with great beds and a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our month at Inn of the Sea. »

« Had an amazing time staying here for three months with my wife and dogs. Dahlia was an incredible host, even responding immediately when we had questions on new years day. Great trails right outside your door, views are even better than the photos, bed was comfy, pool was heated with hottub and sauna, kitchen well equipped and spacious rooms with all the furnishings. Many great trails within 5 minute drive. Would absolutely stay again! »

« The condo was very well equipped and very clean. The spacious layout is great, kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook and the bedding was very comfortable.
