Very friendly easy to find. Lovely room and pub about 15 min walk to the centre with parking on site made it ideal for a trip to the Christmas market. Will definitely stay again

Check in was very smooth a lovely young lady very helpful and welcoming friendly atmosphere.My Room was clean and warm comfortable bed and nice shower.Evening staff also very nice and welcoming to . All the staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. We spoke to Maddy a lot who was charming and effervescent. The pub was a lovely place to be at the end of a day of exploring. We had a wonderful room with everything we could want. Thanks for the fantastic stay.

Excellent location for the barbican (5 min walk) and only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of York. Bathroom was a little dated but shower was hot and heating in room worked well! Main downside was one of the windows didn't shut properly so road noise was quite loud (room 7).
