We took a gamble in coming up to Tendo during our 2.5 week trip to Japan, and this stay easily became the highlight of our trip. We stayed in the suite with a hot tub in the balcony, and the room was spacious, clean, and traditional. The breakfast had a variety of choices, and the dinner (separate charge) was delicious with locally sourced food. Friendly and accomodating staff. The in door hot spring is huge and comfortable. I was able to relax to my heart's content. The outside bath is smaller but still nice. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious. We were late to breakfast but the staff still set up a plate for us, which my family was very thankful for. Make sure to try the hot spring egg.
