We feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at such a place. The views from the property are spectacular and exactly as advertised. We found the beds comfortable, the pool refreshing, and having AC in the bedrooms to sleep at night was all the more it was needed. Cooking for a family requires proper planning. The pool was great for the kids and it was very easy to get to the beach. The wall that opens up onto the patio overlooking the ocean is amazing - the listing photos don’t quite do it justice. It was a bit difficult to cook fancy meals due to the limitations of the kitchen (no range oven), but we made it work. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. While there is not air conditioning in the kitchen and living room, we were not bothered by this at all because of the ocean breeze. And we happen to love the heat!The beach was gorgeous, and there is a little bit of rocks off to the left side that blocks waves if you wanted to wait into the water. The beach was just steps away and the view was second to none! Nothing like waking to the sounds of the ocean and watching the pelicans do their thing. We enjoyed having the private pool and all the convivences of a home away from home. The house is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The house had a beautiful view of the ocean and the private pool added so much to our vacation experience Elizabeth, the host, could not have been more attentive or kind. (This was especially true when Tropical Storm Ernesto became an invited guest!) The house is an hour outside of San Juan, so we spent time in the car traveling to various parts of the island. The rocks provide a sheltered area for young kids to swim. The waves were pretty strong down the rest of the beach. We had an extra special visit all thanks to Elizabeth! We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday during our stay. Elizabeth went above and beyond decorating prior to our arrival! ##### Laura R. We felt very safe and relaxed- and Elizabeth was quick to respond with any questions we had. There is only a/c in the bedrooms- for the most part it wasn’t an issue other than in the mornings when it was hotter because of the sun position- but the pool is amazing and made it great! ##### Kinzie E. Very clean and comfortable. The pool and the patio were amazing. Definitely a 5 star house! I was a little disappointed at the quality of the beach and I do think the posted beach pictures are a little misleading. We ended up making day trips driving to a different beach to have a couple beach days with the kids. I guess technically it is a gated community, however the gate was never closed. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but I was traveling with my young kids and I booked this place specifically for that. Overall the property was very good, the pool was fantastic and we really enjoyed it. That being said, I think there could be more transparency about the air conditioning situation. At first glance, we thought AC was available throughout the unit. It's only available in the bedrooms, and that was a huge issue for us considering there were excessive heat warnings in mid-June when we were there. Most of the time when it got really hot, which was most of the day everyone ended up retreating to their rooms, and it was hard to have any family time in the evenings as a result. It would have been very uncomfortable without AC if we were not pool and beach people. The house was very nice. Loved getting up and having coffee on the patio and watching the ocean waves. Did not enjoy the narrow and curvy 2 lane roads. Grocery is fairly close. We loved the fresh bread at Dulce Arte and the Parcha juice at one of the road side stands. While in the pool, we had fun looking for iguanas on the basketball court down the hill from us. We had a couple days of pretty steady rain from the hurricane going around the island; but could still enjoy being outside on the roofed patio. We felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
