Located along a residential street you are mere steps to both the soundside (spectacular sunsets) and the ocean when sun and sand are calling. Enjoy 2 on-site parking spaces. Location cant be beat! Flipflops are all that’s needed to access the local hotspots. Walk to iconic Trolly Stop, Tower 7, shops… This beautiful property features a king bed, queen bed, and twin bed, ensuring a terrific night's sleep for all guests. Fully renovated in 2024, expect a fresh, light filled space with brand new furnishings and interior touches along with an intentionally preserved, beach cottage vibe. This top floor, 3 bedroom cottage still boasts her wide plank shiplap ceilings, original hardwood floors and spacious, covered front porch…while also offering completely renovated and modernized living areas. The kitchen and bath are fully updated for everyone’s comfort and convenience. Not to be missed is the newly installed, whole house Kinetico water filtration system! No beach water here. We offer healthy, filtered dinking and bathing water along with non-toxic cleaning practices and organic, custom scented reed diffusers (crafted by us!) for healthy, all-natural indoor environments for all of our guests. What we love most about The Latimer is the premiere location with peek-a- boo views of Banks Channel Sound and an easy 2 minute walk to the Ocean. We had a bit of trouble with the keyless entry but Mary was quick to answer our questions and resolve the issue! It was so easy to get to the beach (2 minute stroll) and having coffee shops, a gift shop, and restaurants within a minute of the house was exactly what we wanted, so we didn’t need to use the car often. Being able to grab a smoothie from the walk up coffee shop window and walk back to the beach was so convenient. The outdoor shower at the house was a great way to clean up, keeping sand out of the house. The furnishings are beautiful and all appliances and tvs are up to date. It is a wonderful place to stay!We had 6 people and there were enough beds to accommodate. The twin bed bedroom is very small, but functional and there is only one bathroom.
