Seaglass is a beautiful 1st floor modern apartment in the coastal village of Mortehoe, which is located just a few minutes’ walk from Grunta, Woolacombe, Combesgate & Baricane Beaches and offers top quality accommodation with bright and airy rooms and some gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. Offering an open plan living space with the kitchen having an up-to-date contemporary design with top quality Bosch appliances and a coffee machine for barista style beverages. There are three bedrooms, a twin and a king size, both with sea views and a double. The king size room also boasts a luxurious en-suite shower room, there is also a family bathroom. The entire apartment also benefits from underfloor heating for that extra touch of luxury. Outside there is an allocated parking space with additional parking available in the village public car park just 0.4 miles away. The village of Woolacombe which is just below Mortehoe boasts 3 miles of golden sands, great surfing waves and a fantastic coastal footpath. There are shops, cafés, including one directly overlooking the main beach, restaurants and a great boutique cinema in a local hotel too, all just a 10-minute stroll away! The main beach is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer, and you can make the most of the location for its beautiful sunsets, one of the spectacles regularly enjoyed by locals and surfers out on their boards in the Atlantic waters. Voted in 2020 No.6 in Europe and No.20 in the world, Woolacombe Beach is one of the best in the UK and is renowned for its cleanliness & water quality. Should you choose to venture away from this stunning location, Woolacombe is perfectly positioned for exploring the truly awe-inspiring North Devon coastline and all its beauty. North Devon also has plenty of attractions such as the popular Tarka Trail which provides the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery stretching from Barnstaple through to Bideford and beyond. We had a great stay in this beautifully presented and well equipped large home in July 2022\. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Amazing views of the ocean. Good communication from the property manager. Only downside was that our stay was during an intense heatwave and there is no air conditioning.
