The metal roof on rainy afternoons added to the experience. Grocery and gas and a delicious coffee/latte shop is within a 3 minute drive. I always pack extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, etc because although a place supplies those things, I always run out before my stay is over. Not here though! There were plenty of these items and more. The kitchen is stocked. Just bring your food. There are plenty of stores close by for supplies. It is very quiet and peaceful on the little porch rocker. They have a grill with propane on the porch. There is also a fire pit with a stack of wood. Indian Creek is just a couple of miles down the road. I highly recommend for a weekend retreat.
