Stunning location in the heart of Woodstock on the edge of the Cotswolds & 15mins from Oxford. You have Blenheim palace and all of its parkland on the doorstep. Woodstock itself is a historical town with 7 pubs, numerous restaurants, takeaways & cafes. Soho Farmhouse is a 10-15 drive away.
The property is located on the main Oxford St which is fine for unloading the car but we would recommend then moving into Woodstock itself.
Permit parking has recently been introduced however there is a free car park on Union Street behind the punchbowl pub and you can also drive past the house and head towards Vermont Drive and Vanbrugh Close which are all free and non permit and only approx an 8 minute walk back the house
Free parking can be found on surrounding streets: Browns Lane, Brook Hill & Upper Brook Hill. The property is located on the main Oxford St which is fine for unloading the car but we would recommend leaving your car on one of these side streets. The car park on union street is also free.
Please note there are steps up to the front door. Although there is a handrail it may be steep for people with mobility issues
The first hour is free parking in Woodstock town centre then it is payable between 9am and 6pm but free overnight
Due to the nature of the cottage and us wanting to keep as many original features as possible some of the rooms are on the smaller side
