Very easy check in, great space and unique touches that were truly pleasant. Cold breakfast with added efforts such as overnight oats and fresh bread was appreciated. The beds were just ok as far as comfort goes and the one i slept in squeaked a bit. One of the couches has also seen better days. Definitely more positive than negative points. I would stay again 😊

I wish I could say our stay was better. Lets start with the good. The property is very clean, the host was welcoming. The room was tiny, but for a one or two night stay it's good. The ensuite bathroom was decent. When ever I've stayed at a B&B type property breakfast was always served in a main dining room where you could eat a leisurely breakfast with hot coffee or tea, often a hot breakfast, sadly although this place says breakfast included it greatly lacked, 2 boxes of sugary cereal which we can't eat nor would I, a dry bun, 2 pcs of cheese 2 oranges and 2 bananas and if you wanted coffee you had to make it yourself in a shared kitchen, that was being used by "long term tenant" his stinky food stinking up the fridge....needless to say we had to pay for breakfast elsewhere. Their long term tenant cooked his food around 10 pm, the smell permeated our room, it was offensive and hit you like a brickwall when you opened your door. We had to open the window in our room and leave it open the entire night to try and get the smell out. He was loud, talking so loud we couldn't hear the tv in our room. After about an hour we did msg the owner whose reply was he's gone to bed now sorry for the inconvenience. If it hadn't been so late we would have left. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and we woke up stiff and sore. We have travelled enough to know that some noise is normal, he was over the top and the cooking was not normal and that was a major issue for us.

Love the history and quaintness of this place. Lots of attention to all the little details that make you feel welcome. Pat greeted us at the door and helped us settle in. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and the delicious homemade overnight oats was wonderful. Would stay there again and definitely longer.

We stayed in train 2. It was very clean and had lots of little added touches to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Easy and quick communication with the owner. You can tell they take great pride in their property. Definitely a unique experience.

Train car accommodations were beautiful, well appointed & very clean. It was unfortunate that outdoor lighting didn’t come on until after we arrived in the dark. Also, non-slip options would be a safe addition for the shower.
