Knotty pine cabin with some recent updates including bathroom and bedrooms. Imagine sitting on our large deck overlooking Brandy Lake enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to the loons. Enjoy the evening sunsets over the water or sit on the dock while the kids kayak which are provided for whole family fun. We didn’t spend a ton of time at the house as we spent most of the days on Lake Minocqua and at another family member’s cabin; but the rental was perfect for what we needed. We loved the deck overlooking the lake, the air conditioner units kept the house cool, and we had everything we needed. I have stayed at several VRBO's and this is one that is not terribly high on the list. The queen bed was old not comfortable for me. The pillows were lacking. I thought it was of off putting when I opened the cabinet for a cup and all that there only thing to drink from was gas station / taco bell plastic cups. It had a great view of the lake although accessing it was a bit tricky when you had to walk the planks to reach the water. Our son loved all the fishing from the pier. My husband and 10 yr old used the row boat a few times. It was a few minute drive to town and lots to do. Water was shallow at the shoreline didn’t feel comfortable putting our boat in. It is a 17ft with 110 motor. Went to lake Carol and had a good time fishing with a good ramp. Stored the boat off property because driveway too steep for the boat trailer. No problem gentlemen at bait shop let us store the boat at his house. The cabin was perfect for us 2\. Had a large new deck with a staircase to get down to the lake. Just after the staircase, there is a concrete step with some rather steep ground that is a little difficult to get down if you have any mobility problems. Our trip north was mainly for fishing and this property was perfect for that! The dock and the kayaks provided a great addition to the fishing guide we used one of the days during our stay. I love that they kept the charm of the cabins during the remodel. The spacious entryway was great for storing extra things during the stay and we really appreciated having the washer and dryer.
