Bunk room has 6 beds and holds 4 teenage girls perfectly. Might be a bit tight with 2 additional., but worked will for our group. Washer needs to be replaced or cleaned, front load washer was musty and had some mold around the front edge. These need to be kept clean or open after use to let dry. Kitchen is on the upper level so carrying groceries is up 3 levels, just be aware no other way to get them up there. Kitchen and living space is spacious, lots of utensils, pots/pans, crock pot, griddle, grill (but did not use) etc. The second level has the queen & master bedroom, both have separate bathrooms, master has a fireplace which was nice to warm by and look out at the mountain. Aug 12, 2024 #### Big House, lots of room Nice place and well appointed. We appreciate not being shorted on dishwasher tablets like so many rentals. However, the mattresses should be replaced in master and second king. The views were nice of the ski mountain but there is construction and construction vehicles in lower half of views by railroad tracks. It is a place where one has to drive not walk to dinner and other activities. We were able to go to Rocky Mountain National Park in about an hour and onto a trail in about an hour and a half. Went on hikes near Grand Lake, and a nice one near Frazier . We were not sure about the pool near-by. Hot tub was right in front and felt too exposed to the street and construction to use. Lots of steps up to main sleeping and then up to family kitchen but that room is lovely with kitchen and family room. What, no Scrabble game??? Lots of other games. Nice touch was great hair dryer and radiant heat in master bed and bath. Great washer/dryer and appliances in good working order. ##### Roslyn S. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Chris D. It is three stories so if someone can't climb stairs, you should avoid it. Kitchen and living area on the 3rd floor with bedrooms on floors 1 and 2\. It was really nice to have a garage. While the property is very close to one of the ski runs, there doesn't appear to be any way to walk there. You'd have to climb a big hill and cross a railroad track. If you stay here plan on taking the bus or driving to the slopes. We drove every day since the buses only ran every 20 minutes or so during the week. Bus stop is probably 5-15 minutes away depending on your fitness level. Driving worked well for us since it wasn't crowded during the week, but on a crowded weekend the parking lots could fill up early. The listing was a little deceiving because upon arrival, the construction and building around the condo was so congested that we couldn’t even access the unit until construction vehicles were moved. I would not have booked this place if I knew the entire “neighborhood” of condos were under construction. Also, very clean and beautiful inside, but was unfortunately COVERED IN DOG HAIR. We had to wash all our clothes and blankets each day because everything was covered in dog hair. This out a damper on the trip for sure since we had a 1 year old who was covered in dog hair every time we put her down. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, and will be amazing once construction is completed on the condos surrounding the place. The dog hair is a big problem, especially if you’re allergic to it. ##### Jason S. Feb 2, 2022 #### Very Nice Place, would rent again Our 8 man guy's ski trip was awesome in this well equipped home. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including spices, cheese grater, electric gridle and cocktail shakers. Steam shower and hot tube were excellent after a long day of skiing or riding. Ground floor bunk room was tight with 6 beds but we needed them along with the 4 bathrooms. Living space was great but on 3rd floor and was sometimes quite the climb with tired legs. Chalet is located across a snow road and train tracks from ski school area so we ski/walked in and took shuttle bus at based of road to gondola.
