Nestled in the serene Lakeland countryside, this secluded haven offers a perfect blend of modern luxury and classic charm, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking peace, privacy, and stunning natural beauty. Spacious and Tranquil Living Spaces Step inside Shepherds Rock and experience a spacious, calm, and inviting atmosphere. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area is the heart of the home, featuring a high-spec modern kitchen fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and everything else you need for a gourmet meal. A large dining table and comfortable sitting area with four chairs surround a cosy log burner, perfect for gathering with family and friends. From here, you can access the patio through large doors that open up to breathtaking countryside views. Adjacent to the kitchen, you'll find a snug—a cosy library space with a couple of chairs, ideal for curling up with a good book or enjoying some quiet time. The spacious living room offers another log burner, a projector for family movie nights, and additional patio doors, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty. Comfortable and Stylish Bedrooms Shepherds Rock features four beautifully appointed bedrooms on the upper floor: Master Bedroom: A luxurious king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, offering privacy and comfort. Double Bedroom: A charming double bedroom with beautiful countryside views. Single Bedroom: A cosy single room, perfect for children or a solo guest. Second King Bedroom: Another spacious king-size bedroom, ideal for a restful night’s sleep. Modern Bathrooms with Character The house includes three modern bathrooms, thoughtfully designed with carefully chosen tiling and fittings: Ground Floor Bathroom: A walk-in shower, sink, and WC, conveniently located for easy access. En-suite Bathroom: Attached to the master bedroom, featuring a contemporary shower. Family Bathroom: A spacious bathroom with both a shower and a bath, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Secluded Yet Accessible Surrounded by rolling hills and lush countryside, Shepherds Rock offers complete privacy with no other buildings in sight. Despite its secluded setting, you’re still just a short drive from Lake Windermere and the charming town of Bowness, making it easy to enjoy local dining at The Gilpin or The Wild Boar or to explore the wider Lake District. Thoughtfully Sourced Materials and High Standards Every aspect of Shepherds Rock has been carefully considered, from the handmade beds, mattresses, and furniture sourced from northern England to the high-quality fittings from Stoke, Denby, and Lichfield. The renovation prioritized sustainability and modern technology, reducing the carbon footprint while maintaining the house's original charm. Guest Access Entrance: Access Shepherds Rock through a welcoming hallway on the ground floor. Main Living Area: Enjoy the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining room, and sitting area with direct access to the patio. Bedrooms and Bathrooms: All four bedrooms and additional bathrooms are located on the upper floor, ensuring a comfortable and private stay. Utility Room: A small utility area equipped with a washer and ironing board, with an additional exit for convenience. Additional Accommodation For larger groups, an annex with two additional bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom is available to book separately, accommodating up to 11 guests in total.
