Offering good sized accommodation which has been furnished to a high standard, guests will appreciate the careful attention to detail which has resulted in a most comfortable home from home. Chartfield benefits from a very well-presented living accommodation, which offers a separate snug complete with a cosy wood burner, large TV and a comfy reclining leather suite. In addition, the main living room boasts a pleasant gas coal effect fire, a TV and music system with CD and Bluetooth connectivity. As well as a separate dining room with plenty of room for eight, there is a well-equipped breakfast kitchen with all the expected facilities along with a small TV and DAB radio so the chef does not miss out on any of the entertainment. There are two double bedrooms (one en-suite), two single bedrooms (one with shower and sink), in addition to a ground floor twin bedroom (which has a small shower room located 15 metres away). Plenty of space for kids to sit and play while adults had another lounge area. We all ate together as the table was big enough and kitchen was quite frankly the best equipped kitchen we have had on any rental before! Bathrooms plentiful and bedrooms perfect. All within 30 metres of the town and shops. Perfect base for exploring the lake, surrounding towns or walking/climbing. We will definitely be back! It's not luxurious, but we didn't expect that for the price; it is really comfortable, well equipped and clean, with lots of hot water - perfect value for money. We had no problem with parking (October half term) and proximity to the town was really handy.
