Small and quaint, this little house had more than enough room for our family of 5 and super comfortable beds. It was also within walking distance of downtown Wimberly and all the shops and restaurants. It was a bit cold and rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the river as much as we would have liked,but it was very pretty and we enjoyed having coffee by the river in the mornings. Interestingly enough, the first time my dad came to this cabin was 40 years ago when his friend’s family owned the cabin. I grew up coming to this cabin every summer for years and it holds some of my most favorite memories. The bonus is, now the cabin has air condition! The cabin is perfectly located near the square, is tranquil with deer, blue herons, and even an otter wandering around the property. As we were packing up to go we were already looking forward to the next trip back to the cabin. The cabin is clean, cool, has perfect views of the Cypress creek and is only a short walk to where the Cypress Creek meets the Blanco River. One of the guests thought they left a bag in the bathroom and Hilda who we rented the cabin from, responded quickly to my inquire about it and was willing to mail it back to us immediately. I couldn’t recommend this cabin more!
