We loved the open spaces and even saw some deer on the property.The downside was the problems with the hot tub, no heat. Before booking, I specifically contacted the host and asked if the hot tub was working, I was reassured that it was. Very disappointed being that was the reason we booked this cabin. Supposedly, the maintenance person came to check it and said it was working, but in reality, it never did. I didn’t really like the house; it wasn’t comfortable for me because the bedroom was on one side of the house, and to go to the bathroom, you had to walk through the living room, dining area, and kitchen to get to it at the end. I just wanted to spend a few relaxing days, but it wasn’t quite as I expected, and they didn’t offer any refund or compensation for the hot tub not working properly.(We did get to know the city of Wimberley, and we really liked it — such a lovely place.) ##### Silvia P. Property manager was responsive and they attempted to fix the hot tub and assured me it was working after they came by but when we attempted to use it it still wasn't working so we gave up rather than spend the stay going back and forth with maintenance. That's the only downside to our stay, the fire pit was so cute and it really is perfect for a weekend getaway, just disappointed because the hot tub was the main reason we booked.
