Een gezellig familiehuis in de wijk Montaña / Weg Naar Fuik bij Jan Thiel.  
Een rustige buurt vlakbij de stranden aan de oostkant van het eiland.  
Dit huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een "HOME away from HOME".  
En dat is slechts 3 minuten van het dichtstbijzijnde Santa Barbara Beach Resort.  
Slechts 10 minuten van Jan Thiel Beach. Mambo Beach ligt op 20 minuten afstand.  
  
Voor uw extra gemak staat er al een huurauto voor u klaar bij het huis, geen creditcard nodig. Voor maar $29 usd per dag of een 4x4 Suv voor $60 usd per dag.  
  
Volledig voorzien van airco, huis met alle 3 slaapkamers met hun eigen AC, ook woonkamer en open keuken met AC en Pre Paid Electric System.  
  
Beschikbaar bij het huis een Kia Spectra Automatic Car voor slechts $ 29, - usd per dag of een Hyundai Tucson USV 4X4 voor $60,- usd per dag.  
Ook is er Airport Pick up en drop off mogelijk met de auto voor een éénmalig bedrag van $30.  
  
We hebben een gezellige woning met een ruime lichte woonkamer. Het huis en de tuin liggen lekker op de wind. Hierdoor zul je gedurende je verblijf lekker genieten van de welbekende passaatwind!  
  
De slaapkamers zijn elk voorzien van een smart tv die gebruikt kan worden voor internet en om gebruik te maken van diverse streamingsdiensten zoals bijvoorbeeld Netflix, YouTube etc. Er is ook een box aanwwezig in de woonkamer en de master slaapkamer met alle amerikaanse en internationale zenders, de 2 andere slaapkamers zijn gebonden aan de box van de woonkamer.  
  
De woning heeft een fijne open keuken met een koelkast, stoof fornuis, broodrooster, waterkoker, rijstkoker en een magnetron. Ook kun je genieten van een lekker kopje koffie uit het koffiezetapparaat. De keuken is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt om je lekkere maaltijden klaar te maken. Ook is het huis voorzien van een gas barbeque in de tuin.  
  
We hebben 3 slaapkamers beschikbaar waarvan alle 3 met airco en een grote fan voor een fijne koele bries bij het slapen. Omdat deze woning goed op de wind is gelegen en de slaapkamers zo lekker fris zijn s'avonds, kun je ook heel goed met het raam open slapen. Alle ramen en deuren van het huis zijn voorzien van venster schermen om ongewenste muggen buiten te houden.  
  
De ruime tuin, is voorzien van mooie planten en bloemen en verlichting waardoor je ('s avonds) heerlijk buiten in de schaduw kunt zitten. Daarnaast is er voldoende plek om 10 autos op het afgesloten terrein te parkeren, mocht je een feestje organiseren.  
  
Aan de linkerzijde van het huis hebben we een hele hoge uitkijkpost voor een mooie uitzicht op de fuikbaai en tafelberg en om lekker daar te ontbijten, lunchen of dineren bij het zondsondergang, ook om gezellig met kennisen bij te kletsen en een biertje drinken.  
  
Aan de achterzijde van het huis hebben we een kleine veranda/zitje in de schaduw. Hier staat ook de wasmachine waar je gebruik van kunt maken.  
  
Gedurende je verblijf kun je gebruik maken van de WIFI.  
  
De prijs is inclusief gas en water, maar exclusief elektriciteit voor de Airco's. Er wordt voldoende elektriciteit gerekend en ingezet voor de normale dagelijkse verbruik van de ijstkast, lichten, Tv's etc.  
Elektriciteit wordt geregeld door middel van een zeer eenvoudig opwaardeersysteem. In de woning ligt een handleiding voor het gebruik hiervan. Mocht dit nodig zijn, dan kan ik (Baby) je dit ook persoonlijk uitleggen bij aankomst. Ook zal ik graag in nood jouw helpen met het kopen van het opwaardeer stroom en dat voorschieten voor het gewenste bedrag.  
Dit pre paid opwaardeer system kan je overal op het eiland kopen bij elke benzine station.  
Water op Curaçao is echter ontzettend duur. Het zou top zijn als je bij het gebruik van water hier rekening mee zou willen houden.  
  
Je hebt volledige toegang tot het hele huis en de enorme tuin en de uitkijkpost.  
Mocht je een klein feestje plannen of een paar vrienden uitnodigen om langs te komen voor een gezellig samenzijn of een barbecueavond, dit huis zal dit mogelijk maken. Je hoort geen klachten van de buren of van ons, als je maar alles mooi en geheel houdt.  
  
Heb je vragen, opmerkingen of zoek je gewoon een lekker restaurantje om te gaan eten, laat maar weten! Wij zijn telefonisch en/of per app goed bereikbaar.  
We helpen je graag op weg.  
  
De Curaçao-app is ook handig om te downloaden. Boordevol informatie over restaurants, uitjes etc. En ook voorzien van tips van locals! Uiteraard kun je deze app offline gebruiken.  
  
Kom je laat aan, maar wil je wel ontbijt hebben voor de volgende ochtend, kun je dit aangeven bij je booking. We zullen ervoor zorgen dat er (wit of bruin) brood, boter, kaas en eieren zijn. De kosten zijn geheel afhankelijk van het aantal mensen en zijn voor eigen rekening. Deze kunnen ter plekke afgerekend worden.

Het water is veilig om te drinken op Curaçao, het is puur gedestilleerd water wat er uit de kraan komt met geen enkele bijsmaak.  
Tip! Dus vul die lege flessen, leg ze in de vriezer en je hebt lekker ijskoud water wanneer je naar het strand gaat.  
  
Casa Bienvenida is located in Willemstad, Curaçao, Curaçao. Weg naar fuik kan je bereiken op 2 manieren, via Santa Rosa weg helemaal aan het eind door Montaña heen tot aan Barbara Beach Resort, hier sla je rechts af, je rijdt ongeveer 200 meter totdat je de witte hoge muur voor je ziet, hier sla je Links af, de huis is aangelegen op deze straat,  
of via Caracasbaaiweg en dan bij de kruispunt bij de Burger King voordat je door rijdt naar Jan Thiel, sla je links af naar weg naar Fuik, vann hier is het ongeveer 3km door rijden totdat je de hoge Witte muur ziet aan je rechterhand, hier sla je rechts af, de huis is aangelegen op deze straat.  
  
Boottochten  
Zeil- en boottochten naar Klein Curaçao, visexpedities of duik- en snorkeltrips. Voor ieder wat wils!  
  
Duiken  
Curaçao is een waar duikparadijs. Het eiland is omgeven door beschermd rif. Veel vis en koraal in de buurt. Casa Bienvenida is een perfecte thuisbasis voor duikers om het eiland te verkennen. Er zijn verschillende duikscholen op het eiland. Deze duikscholen organiseren duikcursussen en verhuren duikuitrusting. Interessante boottochten worden aangeboden naar speciale duiklocaties die moeilijk te bereiken zijn vanaf de kust.  
  
Als je meer wilt zien dan alleen de stranden dichtbij gelegen, is het echt aan te raden een auto te huren! Het openbaar vervoer rijdt niet zo efficiënt als in Europa, Amerika of Canada. De bus stopt wel 200 meter van het huis vandaan op de hoofdweg.  
Taxi's zijn erg duur op het eiland. Op deze manier zie je het eiland in je eigen tempo maar kan je ook naar plaatsen gaan waar het openbaar vervoer niet komt. Banda Abou en West punt hebben de mooiste stranden van het eiland.  
  
Om goed de weg te kunnen vinden met je huurauto, is het handig om een offline navigatie-app op je smartphone te zetten. Waze of Google maps werken prima op het eiland.

#### Geweldige vakantiewoning

Een fijn huis met echt alle gemakken voorzien, het is net thuiskomen. Ook met kinderen is het prima te doen. Er is voldoende ruimte. En fijn dat we een auto erbij konden huren. Contact met de eigenaren is ook super. Ze zijn super aardig, behulpzaam en totaal niet de moeilijkste. Al bij al echt top, zeker aan te raden.

#### Mooi verblijf en een aardige behulpzame gastvrouw

Prettige locatie, mooi verblijf. Erg aan te raden als u met het gezin, vrienden of gezelschap op vakantie wilt naar Curaçao. Prima bereikbaar en zelfs voor een kleine prijs een fijne auto er bij. Houdt rekening met een (hele hoge) aparte elektriciteitrekening die naderhand afgerekend moeten worden met de gastvrouw. Ook is het eerlijk en goed om te vermelden dat er naast het verblijf een (gevechts)hanenfokkerij, die vlak naast de slaapkamers van dit verblijf ligt. Dit betekent veel lawaai, gekraai en herrie. Overdag niet echt een probleem omdat het strand op nog geen 10 minuten afstand gelegen ligt en wij hier veel verbleven. 's Nachts daarentegen hinderde dit ons enorm omdat er om de paar seconden hard gekraai was en we hierdoor geen oog dicht hebben gedaan. Dit mocht zeker wel op de site vermeld mogen worden, wij hadden anders om deze reden de accomodatie nooit gehuurd.

#### Our month away

We rented this property for the month of February and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The property is close to the east end of the island so close to Mambo, Jan Thiel beaches. You definitely need a car to get around and we rented the car from our hosts. The thing that saved us was the internet box so we could use our cell phone for GPS. The roads do not have proper signage and without it was very difficult to get around. The house itself is very much like it is in the pictures. We liked to sit out front as the breeze comes between the houses. Everything was in good repair and the hosts were extremely accommodating with everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a homey place to stay.
