« This is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located in the centre of Grasmere. Everything was as described online and the host was very responsive and helpful. It was just me and my husband, but it could fit a small family or two couples. It is small but very clean, well laid out, nicely decorated and stocked with everything you would need. The information and communication was great with easy check in to the property.The location was really good as it was very near to shops and places of interest but far enough away to avoid noise from bars and traffic. « Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. »

« Didn't actually manage to stay here and had to book alternative accommodation at short notice. Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED that this host left a solo female traveler stood outside in the rain and in the dark for over an hour...

« The property was tucked off the main street with parking outside. Inside was spotlessly clean with fresh linen and towels. There was a keybox outside and this was easy enough to use and obtain the key. The only things not provided was a tea towel to dry dishes before we left and onlyv2 tumblers and one wine glass. Msybe an inventory to replace items that have been damaged or broken. We were only there one night but Egremont has a few pubs, restuarants, takeaways and a fairly large co-op store...

« Beautiful house, has everything you need but no walk in shower, but have relaxing baths. Easy drive to major attractions and walks. We traveled with our dogs, so would have liked to have been able to go on walks straight from the house, but unable to due to main road with no path. « Lovely location and awesome views. Property was very comfortable and cosy. We're allergic to feathers so Sue made sure there were no issues. She took great care to think of our wellbeing. We are an older couple so comfort and ease of getting around the flat are important to us. The flat was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thanks fir a lovely stay. »

« Was left over chinese takeaway in fridge. Bed sheets were disgusting, lots of hairs and stains. Cups were unwashed. Decking was so slippy, green molud, nearly had a bad fall. Fold away chairs in main bedroom which seems to be from outside had spider nets. We came home after being there few hours and was meant to stay 4 nights. We were so disappointed, angry, deflated as saved up our hard earned cash for our 4 nights away and ended us coming home before we should have. »

« The lodge was just as described - very modern, clean and cosy. The site itself was also lovely. This was the perfect place to stay, close enough to Keswick for things to do but away from the crowds. Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure! »
