Experience the magic of the Oconaluftee River hiking trails & tubing, go sightsee at the popular Mingo & Soco waterfalls, or play a round at the Sequoyah National Golf Course, all located less than 10 minutes away. You can enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and breweries of the charming town of Bryson City, NC located about 15 minutes from the cabin. The Deep Creek entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also located just outside of Bryson City, and is packed with great hiking trails, 3 beautiful waterfalls, and during the Spring and Summer months, excellent mountain tubing! You can also reach the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake for some great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing options in about 25 minutes, Or you can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting, zip lining, and other adventurous excursions out in the Nantahala Gorge located 30 minutes away. Access Road : This cabin is easily accessible by any vehicle - including motorcycle and mini cooper friendly! Exterior: The outside space is one of the best parts about this cabin! The large deck fully wraps around the cabin and offers both screened in and open-air spaces for you to relax and enjoy. The exterior amenities include a gas grill, hot tub, and beautiful fire pit area surrounded by plenty of seating options. Stargaze at the firepit or Enjoy a meal at the outside table under the glow of the bistro lights on the covered pavilion, with an outdoor space like this you may never want to go inside! Entry Level : Breezy Ridge is comprised of two separate but adjacent components. The unique design is perfect for travelers who are looking for accommodations completely separate and private, or an added addition for larger group travel. First, you have the Main House featuring two bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bath, with a flat screen tv that has blue ray capabilities only. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with the second bathroom being located down the hall. In the living room there are plush leather sofas and a flat screen tv with satellite cable. The kitchen is well stocked for your convenience with all the cookware and utensils you will need for an unforgettable cooking experience, alongside a dining room that is equipped with seating to comfortably fit 6 at the dining table. Guest house: Adjacent to the Main House is the Guest House that features a wonderful game room that is outfitted with a flat screen tv, foosball table, card table, and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The guest house also includes a full bath and third bedroom with queen bed and bunkbed. \---- Pet Policy: This cabin is PET FRIENDLY. If you are bringing a pet along for your visit, there are maximum pet restrictions set by the individual cabin owners so be sure to inquire what the restrictions may be for your cabin if you are planning to bring more than one pet with you. The property was spacious and attractive. I stayed with 4 others and they had a little trouble in the second house with bugs biting them. They also had low water pressure over that way but it was great in the main house. We experienced two power outages in our 9 day stay. On the bright side the place had all the amenities you could want. It took a few days to figure out the hot tub because we didn't realize that the breaker was tripped up but maintenance was great about helping us figure it out. Also, we never could locate the wifi, but the reception wasn't bad. The office was very accommodating and kept in communication, often with us to make sure everything was going well or to be available to help us out. ##### Soniqua L. Great common spaces yet adequate room for privacy. Fire pit/hot tub with a supply of wood for burning. The gas grill was dirty but had tools for cleaning so I did it. Otherwise the property was clean. 1 burned out light bulb and could not find any anywhere but that is something that could easily be overlooked so no biggie. It was not fancy, but the living room furniture was very comfy. Almost too so. I tended to fall asleep in front of the fireplace. I would book again. We booked Breezy Ridge for a long weekend and it didn't just check all the boxes, it nailed them! The location is close enough to get to all the fun things to do in the area with a short drive but still remote enough that once you get to the cabin you feel like you are just about the only people on the mountain. We literally saw only about four cars on the road leading to the cabin the four days we were there. The hot tub, fire pit and guest house were just awesome too. Our 20 something kids and their friends hung out in the guest house each night sitting around the poker table having a great time. We will without question be booking Breezy Ridge again for a future trip to the Smoky Mountains. ##### Scott F.
