One of the best values on the mountain – no detail has been overlooked in this cozy top floor condo. Bitterroot 06 is a completely remodeled Above Standard 1 bedroom, 2-bath 960 square foot condo unit facing northeast with excellent views of the mountain and close access to the slopes (walk-out, ski-in). A large picture window and sliding glass doors lead to a deck providing priceless views of Big Mountain. Bitterroot 06 offers sleeping for six with two bathrooms and in unit full size laundry. The single large bedroom has a queen bed, a set of bunk beds, and a 24" flat screen smart TV. The nightstands flanking the queen bed each have USB charging stations for all your electronics. No need for bulky plugs, just pack your USB cords! Floating shelves with USB charging stations are also adjacent to each bed in the bunk room – everyone can charge their toys! These sleeping areas are separated by a partial wall. There is a queen murphy bed in the living room with an accordion wall which converts the area into a second bedroom. Both bathrooms were updated in 2018 with granite countertops, tile floors and ski/mountain décor. One bathroom is a full bath and the second bathroom is a three-quarter bath with shower only. The living room features beautiful vaulted ceilings, a new leather queen sleeper sofa and recliners, a stunningly upgraded gas fireplace, 43" flat screen TV with smart DVD player, sound bar and movies/games aplenty. The new leather queen sleeper sofa provides a bonus sleeping area. Luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the condo in the spring of 2021\. With hard flooring throughout the condo and leather & wood furnishings, Bitterroot 6 is a safe haven for guests with allergy and asthma concerns. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel Samsung appliances, a coffee maker, and granite countertops with a beautiful slate tile backsplash. All cabinets (kitchen & bath) were updated to beautiful quarter sawn oak wood. The adjoining dining area has seating for six at the table and bonus seating at the kitchen counter. In addition, updated light fixtures have been added throughout the property, new ski/mountain décor and furnishing, and full size Samsung stacked washer/dryer. Air conditioning is available for your summer comfort. The deck includes two all season Adirondack chairs and a gas BBQ for grilling. There is covered parking available for one vehicle. The Bitterroot building has a large ski locker room with a designed ski locker for each condo and a shared hot tub in the complex for winter season only. There is not an elevator in the building, so properties are only accessible via stairs. Whitefish Mountain Resort is located a short drive from downtown Whitefish, Montana and is known for award-winning service. We had a great stay in this property. Everything was clean, updated and comfortable. Short walk to chair 3\. Ski lockers were convenient. It was a bit of a hassle because we couldn’t use our designated parking spot that was closest to our unit, due to ceiling falling in on that parking space. It didn’t get fixed while we were there so we had to park kind of far away. But we still had a great stay. Kitchen was very well stocked. Loved having washer and dryer. My teenage boys and I stayed here for our Glacier NP and surrounding area trip. We also had one of my son’s friends along, and this was the perfect setup for all of us. The guys stayed in the bunk/queen room with the TV and tech hookup, and I hunkered down on the comfortable Murphy bed each night. I’m a morning person, so it was great to have my coffee on the porch to start the days before everyone else was up, as well as access to the washer/dryer unit to keep things rolling. Having two separate bathrooms was helpful, and the kitchen was well-equipped for us all to take turns making the dinners we’d planned. The decor is classy and comfortable, and we felt right at home. The directions and contact info for any assistance we needed (I.e the coffee pot was broken and propane was out) was clear and those small issues were taken care of promptly and with kind professionalism. This is great!" Beautifully decorated and well-accommodated. Convenient location to activities at the resort. Only wish there had been an elevator—it's on the 3rd floor! The property was just as advertised and was very comfortable for two small families. The only real drawback was that it was a bit further away from Glacier than what we would have preferred. The location is convenient as it is located within walking distance to check in, alpine slide, restaurants, trails and ski lifts. The view from the balcony is very pretty. We stayed in summer so no skiing but you could ski in and out and watch skiers come down the mountain in the winter. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. (Cleaners could pay better attention to dusting though). Convenient covered parking space right next to building door but there are about 60 steps up to the unit. We only found it an issue when we were bringing in our suitcases and groceries the first night but if you have any mobility issues or small children you would want to consider this. Layout is a bit strange. It’s a pretty small space (pictures make it look bigger). There is a ton of furniture and Knick knacks packed into the small area which makes it a bit difficult to navigate. Both bathrooms have sinks outside the bathroom. In the bedroom it is tricky because the sink shares an alcove with the bunk beds. Brushing my teeth at night 2 feet from my sleeping child was strange trying not to wake her or bump into the ladder and the AC floor unit. There is also very little storage/closet space so we had to get creative and use the top bunk for storing our suitcases and clothing. We used the Murphy bed which was great but there was really no where to move the big chairs that occupied that space along with the large A/C unit. Overall I think just smaller/less furniture would be really helpful in this small space. There were many stubbed toes and bumped shins. Unit had lots of extra linens which was appreciated. Once we heard neighbors coming in late but otherwise was very quiet. The 2 device fast charging units were a nice touch and we loved having a washer and dryer. It was nice having the AC units although the vents kept coming out of the wall. (I mentioned that they needed to be fixed to management at checkout so hopefully they will fix them.) Overall it was a good home base for us. We really only used it at night and spent the days out exploring the area. The location is convenient to town and not too far of a ride to Glacier National Park and other areas. The kitchen had really nice everything, tons of bedding and towels. Would definitely stay again.
