The photos on the site don't do it justice. The house and the property are spectacular. The house was substantially larger than we expected and has plenty of amenities to house 6 adults and 4 teenagers. The location is quiet and serene. We were in the area to experience Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain, but the property is a delightful destination in its own right. We enjoyed our time hanging out at home nearly as much as the time exploring the Park and the Mountain. The distance from town and the mountain is "just right" -- it's far enough to feel quiet and secluded, yet it's easy to run in to town for a meal or for groceries. This beautifully appointed home was a wonderful spot for us to relax, read books and play games when we were not hiking in Glacier! The house is close enough to Whitefish that shopping and getting food is a breeze but also removed enough that we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet mountain surroundings! Very private and yet within minutes to skiing, restaurants and town. Absolutely need 4WD in winter as the final segment of the road is a bit bumpy but worth the trek. However, the couch had a 18 inch ripped backing in one spot and 6 inch rip in another. The coffee pot had not been cleaned. The road to get back to the house had a very rough gravel drive for a portion of the way. The decor did not match the quality of the house. It was fully stocked with all amenities.
